System Overview:

The Diamond Specialized, Inc. 2 Step wash system is capable of cleaning almost any type of vehicle or equipment, keeping surfaces looking clean and free of static bonds. The system is mostly used to keep truck fleets clean, as well as any other highway vehicles.

How It Works:

This proven process is the ultimate way to clean a vehicle when efficiency and results are both high priorities. The process is simple.

1. A low PH solution is applied to the vehicle under high pressure from the bottom up (Red Signal Light)
2. A high PH solution is applied in the same manner as step 1. (Green Signal Light)
   *During the reaction of these 2 products on the surface, the static bonds are broken, the products return to neutral pH, and the bond that clings dirt to the surface is broken.
3. The dirt film is rinsed from the vehicle, leaving all surfaces looking clean with no contact from a brush. (White Signal Light)

All of our systems include the installation of a water softening system. This is a critical component when it comes to 2-step washing.

System Operation:

The system’s phase controlling mechanism is very unique and allows the operator to easily switch through the wash phases.  When the unit is turned on and in the automatic position, the person operating the wand can cycle through the chemical and rinse modes by simply squeezing and releasing the trigger gun. The unit senses each cycle of the trigger and automatically cycles through 1st step, 2nd step, and rinse. This means the operator can complete the entire wash sequence without stopping and walking back to change any switches or valves. Indicator lights are usually placed in wash bays to show the operator the current phase of the wash.  If desired, the machine can still be manually placed in step 1, 2, or rinse.

We have taken the 2-step process to the next level with our easy-to-use machine. No downstream injectors, no cumbersome “2-step guns”, no wires in your hose, and no running back and forth to switch hoses or valves. 1,2, Rinse…. All without setting down the wand.

Major advantages:

Besides the excellent results of cleaning with this type of system, there are many other advantages it brings to the table.

• Speed – On average, if trained properly, an individual can wash a tractor-trailer in about 20 minutes with this system. A pickup truck can be done in about 5 minutes. If efficiency needs to be better, a second machine can be added to a wash bay so individuals can work together to clean on opposite sides.
• Vehicle Preservation – In the northeast, road salt is a huge problem for vehicle bodies and frames. The first step of this system (low pH) actually neutralizes the salt when it is on the vehicle. This immediately stops corrosion caused by the salt. Frame and body life can be drastically extended by using this process over the winter months.
• Safety – Our chemical products are stored in containers near the system and automatically diluted by the machine. The final dilution ratios are very safe for personnel in the wash bay.
• Convenience – Our systems are totally installed and maintained by us. We organize a fleet washing program that fits your company’s needs. We make and deliver our cleaning chemicals on a routine basis and completely check over the system each time we visit a customer. As long as our products are used with the system, we never charge labor for any work performed on the system.
• Our Service – We keep our equipment running properly and charge no labor or service call fees as long as our customers use our cleaning products with the system.  We are the factory, so we always have replacement parts in case of a breakdown. We keep an eye on truck fleets and give advice on keeping the vehicles looking great. We believe that clean vehicles and equipment say a lot about a company as a whole.  Our goal is to help in this area as much as possible.
